I'll always be a truther of Casey/April getting together and April just being the turtles big sister, that is the BEST dynamic and you cannot change my mind

Gives me the ick whenever April ends up as the turtles' love interest ya I get she was the "girl character" but she actually had development outside of being the main casts love interests

"But Casey and April always get together" Casey was designed to be APRIL'S love interest, not the other way around, ntm it's always slowburn it's not like Casey gets into crimefighting [looking at you TMNT2012 and TOTTMNT/MM] for the sake of getting with April

Casey is just Always Built Like That. Bro is off doing his crazy shit by himself by default. Casey and April being a thing doesn't take away from EITHER of their characters [again looking at you TMNT2012] and it's usually built up slowly and in a nice way that it doesn't get in the way of the rest of the story either [except TMNT2012 yes I will be side eyeing 2012s bad romance subplots this entire post. You know what you did.]

Also it feels less insulting to April's character and also the turtles if they decide to help her... Bc they see she needs help not bc one of them is heinously down bad. Ntm if they put it as "April is a sister" they almost ALWAYS find a good way to integrate her as part of the team instead of like. The Girl. Oh ya the turtles. And The Girl. Cmon man.
